Designed and manufactured as part of a Devonport Villa makeover, this striking kitchen makes a real statement while creating a beautiful focal point for entertaining.

The vision was created by “Island Interiors” and bought to life by the skilled craftsmen at Royale Kitchens.

A sophisticated combination of lacquered Shaker doors in Aalto Walk Away and Dezignatek Berlin and Prague Swurve panels in Tahoe Walnut. The kitchen’s island has distinctive curved ends, bringing an elegant sense of flow and calm to the space. The stunning marble bench tops complete the cabinetry beautifully.

The island design was carried through into the adjacent bathroom vanity, creating a subtle sense of continuity throughout the home.

In the laundry, Dezignatek Kawhia in Fjord Matt was paired with the same stone used in the kitchen, tying the spaces together beautifully.

A generous library and office space was also created in Melteca Classic Oak with a textured Organic finish, incorporating concealed uplighting to create warmth and atmosphere. And with several metres of books still needing a home, the clients had plenty to fill the space – even after we had created a matching, but considerably larger library for their Waiheke holiday home!
